Parents' guide to AFK clients

If your child has asked to pay for afkclient.pro, this page explains what it is, what it costs and what to check before you agree.

What it does#

afkclient.pro keeps a Minecraft account logged in to a game server while your child is away from the game. It runs on our servers, not on your computer, so the family PC does not need to stay switched on overnight. Your child controls it from a web page on a phone, tablet or computer.

Players use it to stay online on a server, keep in-game farms running and collect rewards some servers give for time spent online. It does not change the game itself and is not a cheat client.

Is anything installed on our computer?#

No. It runs entirely in the browser, so there is no program to download or install.

What does it cost?#

It is a monthly subscription:

Yearly billing costs ten times the monthly price, so two months are free. There is also a free 1-day trial of Pro. The subscription renews automatically until it is cancelled. Optional add-ons, such as extra proxies, are billed monthly on top. See which plan to pick for what each plan includes.

How sign-in works#

• The website account is opened with Discord or an email link. We do not ask for or store a password for it.
• The Minecraft account is connected with Microsoft's own sign-in page. Your child enters a short code on microsoft.com, so the Microsoft password is never typed into afkclient.pro.

How payment works#

Card payments go through Stripe, a payment processor used by millions of businesses. Card details are entered with Stripe and never reach our servers. Crypto payments are also accepted.

How to cancel#

Cancel from the billing section of the dashboard. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for, and no further payments are taken.

Refunds#

Under our refund policy, we refund within 7 days of purchase when a problem on our side stopped the service from working, for example if a payment went through but access was never activated. Change of mind and unused time are not refunded. To ask, email support@afkclient.pro with the Discord username, payment date, amount and reason.

Will my child get banned from a server?#

That depends on the server. Some servers welcome AFK players, others forbid automation. It is worth reading the server's rules together before turning on anything automated. Our page on whether an AFK client is safe and allowed explains how to check.
