Discord webhooks and player alerts
Webhooks send a Discord message when something happens on your server: a player walks up to your base, an account dies or gets kicked, a block is broken, or a chat message matches what you're watching for. They're included on every plan.
Open the server folder's menu, choose Server Settings, then Webhooks.
What a webhook can watch for#
| Event | When it sends |
|---|---|
| Join | An account connects. |
| Leave | An account is kicked or disconnects. |
| Death | An account dies. |
| Player nearby | Someone comes within a range you set, or leaves it. |
| Explosions | Something explodes nearby. |
| Block damage | Someone starts breaking a block nearby. |
| Block destroyed | A block nearby is broken. |
| Block placed | A block nearby is placed. |
| Chat / command reply | A chat line or command reply matches your text. |
One webhook can watch several events.
Create a webhook#
- In Discord, open the channel's Settings → Integrations and create a webhook. Copy its URL.
- In Webhooks, click New webhook and paste the URL.
- Pick the events, and the range for player and block alerts.
- Choose which accounts on this server it covers.
- Write your own message, or leave it empty for the default. A live preview shows what it will look like in Discord.
- Click Send test to check it arrives.
Make it yours#
- Mentions: tag people, roles, @everyone or @here so the alert pings your phone.
- Details: include coordinates, which account noticed it, and the time.
- Avatar: give the webhook its own picture.
- Placeholders: add the account name, server, coordinates, health, player name and more to your message.
Ignored players#
Add your friends to Ignored players so "Player nearby" only tells you about everyone else. The list covers every account on the server.
Track your balance in Discord#
